This policy governs the Xeplas website and all associated mobile applications, software projects, and digital services published by us on any platform (Google Play, Aptoide, Apple App Store, etc.).

By accessing our services, you grant explicit consent to the processing of your data as outlined here. If you do not agree to these terms, you are prohibited from using our services and must uninstall our applications immediately

2. DATA IDENTIFICATION & COLLECTION METHODS

We collect data to provide high-quality services and to maintain security.

User-Provided Information: Legal names, email addresses and account credentials provided during registration

Automated Metadata: IP addresses, browser user agent strings and device identifiers (IMEI, Android ID)

Interaction Data: Comments, community interactions, and technical logs used for spam detection (via services like Gravatar/Akismet).

Financial Data (Paystack Integration): All financial transactions are managed via Paystack. While we do not store primary card numbers, we collect transaction tokens, billing addresses and payment status to fulfill our legal and tax obligations.

3. Media & User-Generated Content

Our mobile applications may request specific system permissions (e.g., Camera, Storage, Location).

Purpose: These are used strictly for app functionality (e.g., uploading a profile picture).

Disclosure: We do not "scrape" or sell data obtained via these permissions. Users can revoke these permissions at any time via their device settings, though this may limit app functionality.

Comment Cookies: If you leave a comment, you may opt-in to saving your name and email in cookies for one year.

Users uploading media to Xeplas projects acknowledge that they retain no privacy rights over embedded metadata (EXIF GPS)

Shield Clause: Ophilyra Solutions is not liable for the exposure of sensitive location data embedded in user-uploaded content.

Moderation: We reserve the unconditional right to remove content deemed malicious, defamatory, or harmful to our business integrity.

6. EXTERNAL LINKS & LIABILITY SHIELD

Our services contain embedded content (YouTube, Social Media) and links to external providers.

Liability Waiver: Ophilyra Solutions does not control, and is not responsible for, the privacy practices of third-party platforms. Your interaction with these third parties is governed solely by their respective policies.

7. DATA SHARING & INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

We share data only when necessary:

Service Necessity: Password resets, security audits and spam detection.

Payment Processing: Secure data transmission to Paystack for billing.

Legal Compliance: We will disclose data if required by a court order or to protect the safety of our users and assets.

Cross-Border Transfers: Data may be processed on servers located outside your home country. By using our services, you consent to these international transfers.

8. SECURITY LIMITATIONS & INDEMNIFICATION

While we utilize industry-standard SSL/TLS encryption and robust server-side security, you acknowledge that no transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Limited Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ophilyra Solutions shall not be liable for any data breach, unauthorized access, or loss of data caused by factors beyond our reasonable control, including "Zero-Day" exploits or user-side negligence.

9. DATA RETENTION & USER RIGHTS

Retention: Personal data is kept as long as the account is active or as required by financial regulators (e.g., 7 years for Paystack transaction logs).

Your Rights: You may request an export of your data or its total erasure ("Right to be Forgotten") by emailing our legal desk. We will comply within 30 days, except where data must be kept for administrative or legal purposes.

10. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

Our services are not directed at individuals under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If we become aware of such collection, we will terminate the account and purge the data immediately.
